Is a Codecov upload token specific to a user or to a repository? I think a repository, correct?
Codecov upload tokens are unique per repo and not associated with a user.
If your user has write privileges, you can view (and regenerate, if necessary) the upload token within the settings page of your project in Codecov. See Where is the repository upload token found?.
