Description
Hello Codecov Support,
I’m having an issue where Codecov does not detect any repositories from my GitHub organization, even though the Codecov GitHub App appears to be installed correctly and has access to the target repository.
Issue summary:
Codecov UI shows:
“There are no repos detected”
The repository does not appear in the Codecov organization/repository list after syncing.
Environment:
- Git provider: GitHub
- Repository type: private organization repository
- Codecov integration: GitHub App
- GitHub organization: Clispi.
- GitHub repository: clispii-web
- Codecov organization/account: Codecov
- My GitHub user is an organization admin/owner: YES
Steps already completed:
- Installed the Codecov GitHub App on the GitHub organization.
- Granted the Codecov GitHub App access to the specific repository.
- Confirmed that the App is installed at the organization level, not only on my personal account.
- Ran repository sync/re-sync from the Codecov UI.
- Checked GitHub organization third-party application access policy.
- The policy was previously set to “Restricted”.
- No pending Codecov OAuth app approval was shown under third-party access.
- I removed/disabled the third-party application restriction.
- After removing the restriction, Codecov still does not detect the repository.
- I also re-authorized/reconnected Codecov OAuth access from my GitHub account.
- The repository still does not appear in Codecov.
Current state:
- GitHub App installation exists.
- Repository is selected in the Codecov GitHub App configuration.
- GitHub organization third-party OAuth restriction has been restores (restricted).
- Codecov repository sync still shows no repositories detected.
- I cannot get a repository upload token because the repository is not visible/created in Codecov.
Expected result:
The selected GitHub organization repository should appear in Codecov after installing the GitHub App and syncing repositories.
Actual result:
Codecov still shows no repositories detected.
Could you please check whether the GitHub App installation is correctly linked to my Codecov organization and whether the repository can be manually synced/onboarded?
